Northfield Bank hosts “Jersey Day” Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness

Northfield Bank hosts “Jersey Day” Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the disease and promote early detection through regular screenings. With breast cancer affecting millions of individuals and their families, it’s essential to share information about prevention, symptoms, and treatment options. By spreading knowledge and encouraging open conversations, communities can empower individuals to take charge of their health and support one another.

On October 15th, Northfield Bank held a special event where employees wore their favorite football jersey for a $5 donation. All proceeds from the event went directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation, an organization dedicated to funding research, providing education, and supporting those affected by breast cancer. The event was a great success, showcasing the community’s commitment to breast cancer awareness. Together, attendees made a significant difference by contributing to vital research. The total amount raised highlights the impact of this collective effort in the fight against breast cancer.
